MS Walk Austin: cold and beautiful

Today’s MS Walk Austin makes the third annual appearance for team Rainey’s Rangers.   And just like every year, a cold front managed to roll in right before the walk.  It was nice mainly because I don’t like to sweat, and secondly because every year I know that by the time the walk is here that fall/winter is soon to follow.

Aside from spending time with family, I also took the opportunity to get acquainted with my camera a little more.  I should really come up with a name for her…

Amanda’s brother and his wife have 3 beautiful blonde haired girls that were too much fun not to capture in pictures. And the beautifully sunny day was a photographer’s dream.  All in all, it was the perfect day to capture simple love.

Then I started taking advantage of the perfect sunlight and the free models: this is Amanda’s precious niece enjoying the walk.

The girls had lots of fun

And look who came?!  Yes, that’s my hot hubby sporting the earmuff-band.  Love you baby!

Last but not least a team picture.

MS is a disease that affects approximately 400,000 Americans.  Every hour of every day someone is diagnosed with MS.  I walked to support a sweet friend/family member.  Together our team raised over $2,000 for the fight to cure MS.   This year I sold some of my paintings to raise money- thank you to everyone who bought one: I hope when you see it, it brings you joy and reminds you of the cause your donation when to support.
